WHAT IS DEXTOPIA?
Dextopia - The Land of the Four Cyborg Tribes
Dextopia is a sprawling, futuristic realm forged by the ingenious and eccentric visionary Kalom, a master of bioengineering and cybernetics. Nestled in a world where nature and technology collide, Dextopia is a land of stark contrasts—lush, overgrown wilderness pierced by towering structures of gleaming metal and flickering holograms. Created as both a sanctuary and an experiment, it is a proving ground for Kalom’s dream: to harmonize organic life with mechanical evolution through the four cyborg tribes. Each tribe occupies a distinct region within Dextopia, their territories reflecting their unique identities, yet all are bound by an unspoken pact to maintain the balance of this engineered paradise.

The Nexus of Kalom
At the center of Dextopia lies the Nexus, a colossal dome of translucent alloy and pulsating energy, said to be Kalom’s final resting place—or perhaps their eternal workshop. It radiates a soft, golden light, connecting the four regions via energy conduits that hum beneath the earth. The tribes believe the Nexus holds the key to their creation, a central AI or blueprint that guides their existence. Though they rarely convene, the Lourds, Raborg, Figorg, and Dogorg all revere this sacred hub, each interpreting Kalom’s will in their own way—be it through wisdom, survival, innovation, or loyalty.

RABORG:
To the northeast, the Verdant Warrens sprawl across rolling hills and dense forests, a labyrinth of greenery interwoven with subterranean tunnels. This is the territory of the Raborg, the cyborg rabbit tribe. The surface teems with life—vines and moss conceal solar-powered charging stations and hidden traps crafted by the Raborg’s nimble paws. Below ground, their warrens are a marvel of scavenged tech: walls lined with glowing circuits, air filtered by humming ventilators, and caches of spare parts pilfered from Dextopia’s fringes. The Raborg dart through the undergrowth, their nanocircuit fur blending with the foliage, ever-watchful for intruders. Above, the canopy is dotted with their radar-ear outposts, ensuring no threat goes unnoticed in their bustling domain.

LOURDS:
In the southwest of Dextopia lies the Shimmering Sands, a vast desert of reflective dunes and ancient ruins half-buried beneath the shifting grains. This is the domain of the Lourds, the cyborg sphynx tribe. The landscape glitters with solar panels and crystalline obelisks that store the tribe’s vast repositories of knowledge, powered by the relentless sun. Towering sphynx-like statues, enhanced with biomechanical joints and glowing eyes, stand as sentinels at the borders. The Lourds roam this arid expanse, their metallic limbs glinting as they guard cryptic underground vaults filled with Kalom’s earliest designs. The air hums with the faint buzz of their sensory tails, attuned to the whispers of the past and the secrets of Dextopia’s origins.
FIGORG:
At Dextopia’s heart rise the Flux Spires, a cluster of jagged, metallic towers that pierce the sky, their surfaces shimmering with shifting holographic patterns. This is the realm of the Figorg, the enigmatic cyborg tribe of modular forms. The Spires are a living workshop, constantly reshaped by the Figorg’s relentless tinkering—platforms extend and retract, bridges form and dissolve, and sparks fly from forges where flesh and machine are fused. The air crackles with electromagnetic pulses, a byproduct of their endless experimentation. Scattered across the region are junkyards of discarded tech, scavenged by the Figorg to fuel their evolution. Silent and purposeful, they move among the Spires like ghosts, their visors casting eerie light as they pursue Kalom’s vision of perfection.
